When the business was first launched in 1989, it was under the name K.M. Laidlaw Roofing, founded by Sean’s father, Kevin Laidlaw.

Laidlaw Roofing, Sean’s father took his first independent steps in the industry with the support of a company called Just for Starters, which helped him transition from council work to running his own business.
